A JOURNEY OF THE SENSES

Culinary Cinema Concert at the Railway Museum Halle (Saale)

120 guests, a sold-out evening, and a historic railway roundhouse transformed into a cinema: on 10 October 2026, our Culinary Cinema Concert “A Journey for the Senses” became a truly special experience.

Together with the Eisenbahnmuseum Halle (Saale) e. V. and in cooperation with the DB Museum Halle (Saale) the project collective Kollegas brought film, live music and culinary delights in an extraordinary charity event under the patronage of Halle’s Mayor, Dr. Alexander Vogt.

At the heart of the evening was Murder on the Orient Express (2017), accompanied by the oriental sounds of the oud, performed by Halle-based musician Omar Shalash, and culinary concept that brought the journey to life through taste as well. The historic setting of the railway roundhouse lent the evening a truly unique atmosphere.

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all our guests, contributors, and supporters who made this experience possible. The enthusiastic response demonstrates the great potential of creative collaborations and innovative formats for Halle’s cultural scene. We look forward to what lies ahead!
